I found “Split” on a cool September afternoon making his way into Moraine Park inside of Rocky Mountain National Park in 2025. Sadly, there will be no more images to come of split as he was taken later in the hunting season when he left the confines and security of the park. estimated here in this photo to have been 12+ years old.
