I encountered this Short Ear Owl late one afternoon just as the sun was setting at Eagle Bluffs Conservation Area back in March of 2023 - It was a last-minute decision on my part, The Photography gods were with me - Ole Shorty sat on this perch and allowed me to take roughly 300 images of him/her - Red Rim light from the setting sun - This one is printed and hanging in my home as well.
